| www.gadm.org GADM is a spatial database of the locations of administrative areas worldwide (or imposed administrative boundaries) for use in GIS and similar software. Administrative areas in this database include countries and lower-level subdivisions such as provinces, states, departments, bibhag, Länder, daerah Istimewa, fivondronana, Krong, landsvæðun, Opstina, sub-prefectures, municipalities, and Thana. GADM describes where these administrative areas are ("spatial features") and provides some attributes for each area, such as the name and variant names. |
