2014: Forest Inventory App, an Android application designed for collecting forest information, developed by Supergeo, will be released to provide forestry professionals with a professional and accessible tool for field surveys and recording biometric data. With this application, natural resource administrators can quickly record the necessary information during field surveys and improve task efficiency.
To help forestry professionals with surveying and locating sample units more accurately, the Forest Inventory App allows recording tracks with GPS and displaying them on the map directly. The data can be saved as SHP and KML files, making it easier to open and share the information.
According to Supergeo's Product Team, the special app for foresters will be launched in the 4th quarter of 2014 and will be first introduced during INTERGEO 2014 (October), in Berlin, Germany. For more information, please visit www.supergeotek.com.
