MapFactor Navigator is a free GPS navigator for Android phones and tablets that uses OpenStreetMap data. Maps are installed on the SD card so no internet connection is needed while traveling. Map downloads and app updates are free and released monthly.
Features include voice guidance, speed camera warnings, 2D and 3D map views, different map color schemes, night and day modes, and the ability to correct and add your own map data through OpenStreetMap at osm.org, so you no longer need to wait months for updates from paid map vendors.
Try it, and if you do not like it, contribute to the geo-collaboration project “osm.org” to help make it better. If you still do not trust the community data, the app also lets you purchase the official TomTom map package for the navigator.
