Those of you who follow Forest-GIS know that the army had already made matrix and vectorized topographic maps at different scales available for public consultation and download –as published here.
In the army's BDGEx system, however, there is a limitation on data downloaddepending on the access levelof each one. For example, without registration, only 1:250,000 data is available for consultation and download.
Now, however, the Army has made available a WMS link containing dozens of layers with BDGEx products that you can consume directly in QGIS or ArcGIS.
Just make a WMS/WMTS connection with the linkhttp://bdgex.eb.mil.br/mapcacheAnd that's it, you will be viewing the data as shown below:

If you are one of those people who are still scanning letters, georeferencing them, using ArcScan to digitize them for later use, know that you are wasting a huge amount of time. Now with WMS charts, everything is on your screen in a matter of seconds.
