Anyone who uses Google Earth mobile, especially on an Android device, knows that it is not one of the fastest or lightest applications to work with, especially if we have a kml/kmz with a few thousand vertices.
Just like you did with Google Earth for Desktop, ESRI recently launched a strong competitor to Google Earth Mobile, it is (surprise): ArcGIS Earth Mobile.

The ArcGIS Earth Mobile app, in addition to opening kml/kmz, supporting 3D data, now supports capturing and sharing GPS tracks on your cell phone or tablet.
Trails recorded in the field can be exported as KMZ files and/or uploaded directly to your organization's ArcGIS Online portal. Then you can use ArcGIS Earth on the desktop for more advanced analysis. According to ESRI, this new feature works to support stronger collaboration between mobile and desktop users.
